GCBT invites you to join your fellow members in Barrie following Canada Day (Thursday July 2 to Sunday July 5, 2026). Early registration by Tuesday March 17, 2026
Accommodations at Georgian College, conveniently located just off Hwy 11 in Barrie.
The weekend includes accommodations, meals, and planned routes.
Cycling: There will be routes provided for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with 3 distances for each day - roughly 50 kms, 75 kms and 100 kms. You choose how far you want to go! We will have some short ride options for the Thursday for the keeners who arrive early and need to stretch out their legs.
Accommodations: We will be staying in the air conditioned Residence and Conference Centre on campus. Linens (towels, bedding) are provided, as well as breakfasts (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and dinners (Friday and Saturday).
The club is hosting a welcome reception on Thursday evening, providing pizza and you can discreetly BYOB. More details and timing to follow closer to the event.
The accommodations are residence suites. Each suite has two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a full bathroom, and kitchenette with fridge, stove and microwave (but no dishes). A suite can house 2 people (one in each bedroom), 3 people (one person in one bedroom, two in the other), or 4 people (2 people in each of the two bedrooms).
Your accommodation choices are:
Single Occupancy, you have your own bedroom with double bed, there will be someone else is in the other bedroom in the suite
Double Occupancy, two people sharing one bedroom with a double bed, there will be someone else is in the other bedroom in the suite
Weekend fees:
All attendees must be a 2026 GCBT member. Membership must be purchased in advance of trip registration as it includes acceptance of the club waiver and updates our membership records.
Single Occupancy - $430/weekend, per person
Double Occupancy - $340/weekend, per person

1. registrant - i.e. your own name and any dietary restrictions for yourself
2. name of roommate, if appropriate, to ensure we put you together in same bedroom once they register
3. name(s) of suitemate(s), if appropriate, to ensure we put you together in same suite once they register
Early registration
We ask that you register by Tuesday March 17, 2026. This will secure our group booking with Georgian College. After that date, we will seek additional suites with the intent to re-open registration, assuming the College has capacity. First come, first served!
